For your convenience, TVWD offers a subscription based program to meet State and TVWD annual backflow assembly testing requirements. Qualifying residential customers may choose to have TVWD coordinate their annual backflow assembly test with a contracted testing company for a subscription cost of $40, once annually, per assembly, assessed to their bi-monthly water bill. Assemblies located inside the home or garage, in crawl spaces, behind locked gates, or homes with any other possible impediment (including animals in the yard) are not eligible for the Gold Plan. For customers with multiple backflow assemblies, each assembly will be tested under the Gold Plan (with a charge of $40 per assembly), as the Gold Plan is applied to all assemblies on the account.
Important Notes:
TVWD accepts Gold Plan applications until May 31st for each year's testing season. Any applications received on or after June 1st will be enrolled for the following testing year.
Once the Gold Plan fee is assessed in early March, a refund cannot be issued.
Only the customer named on the billing account for the service address may enroll in the Gold Plan.
