TVWD performs plan review, oversees and inspects water system improvements, and tracks project progress for development and redevelopment within the District's service boundary.

TVWD collects fees at different stages of development. Collection of fees are needed to recuperate staff costs for plan review and construction inspection, as well as pay for service and meter installations our District crews perform.

Prior to receiving water service, customers must have a service line and an appropriately sized water meter installed by Tualatin Valley Water District. Learn more about purchasing a meter and connecting to the water system.

TVWD offers multiple options for customers who need fireflow information. Please note: TVWD handles fireflow tests on all public hydrants within the district. Private hydrants behind a fireline should be tested by private fire protection companies.

Customers must apply for authorized access to bulk water from TVWD fire hydrants for construction, landscaping, street cleaning and other approved uses.
