Come visit the new facility, meet the people behind the project, and learn how this investment helps provide safe, reliable drinking water service for your neighborhood, now and for years to come.
Funded by customer water rates and approximately $3 million in state support, this $17 million project was designed to help meet the growing water needs of the Cooper Mountain area while improving long-term reliability for customers.
The new 189th Pump Station is already helping deliver water from the Joint Water Commission (JWC) to customers in the Cooper Mountain area. Beginning in late 2026, the station will start delivering a blend of water from the JWC and TVWD’s new Willamette Water Supply System, which adds another reliable water source for the community.
What This Project Means for You
- Improved long-term water reliability for your home and businesses
- Increased water capacity to support growing neighborhoods
- Backup power capabilities to help maintain water service during power outages
- Modern equipment and upgraded systems designed to support dependable water service for years to come
We look forward to welcoming neighbors and community members to learn more about the future of your water system.
