Description
UPDATES:
- Upcoming Construction: Construction is scheduled to occur in summer 2026. Customers located near the construction area will receive advance notification of the project by email, text message, automated phone call, and postcard.
- Drone Footage: During the week of Feb. 17, 2025, TVWD will be capturing high-resolution aerial imaging and video of NW Blackhawk Dr. from approximately NW Talon Terr. to NW 114th Terr. with a drone. This footage will play a crucial role in planning a future pressure regulator vault and piping replacement project in your neighborhood.
Project Overview
TVWD will be:
- Abandoning an existing water pressure regulator vault near 11864 SW Blackhawk Dr.
- Installing a new water pressure regulator vault and associated piping near 11548 NW Blackhawk Dr.
A water pressure regulator vault is an underground enclosure that houses a water pressure reducing valve (PRV) and related equipment. Its job is to keep the water pressure delivered to homes, businesses, or sections of a water distribution system at a safe, consistent level.
