The plan review fee and inspection fee may be paid as each service is required. They are not required to be paid at the same time.
Inspection fees are effective for projects that have not held the pre-construction meeting related to the approved plan or commenced construction within 3 months of the effective date.
The estimated total does not include any miscellaneous fees (plan resubmittal, performance bond, additional sampling, or reinspection). It does not include the fees for service installs, meter installs, or system development charges. Contact the Engineering Department at 503-848-3000 to request an estimate for services and meters.
Applies when the time between the final plan review approval and the pre-construction meeting exceeds 6 months, or when a plan requires more than 3 resubmittals (a total of 4 reviews).
Applies when the Developer requests to have water meter(s) installed prior to acceptance by the District of all public waterline construction identified on the approved plans.
Applies to each additional round of sampling (includes initial and follow-up samples) required when either the initial or follow-up sample(s) fails.
Applies when a final inspection is requested, and one or more punch list items are not complete. Payment of the reinspection fee is required before additional inspections can be requested.

Effective November 1, 2023, TVWD's plan review and inspection services fees have increased to recover the cost for staffing time. This change provides equity among new and existing customers.
