The cities of Beaverton and Hillsboro have implemented new rights-of-way (ROW) fees on the gross revenue received by TVWD from customers within their respective city limits. A ROW fee is a charge by a city for locating pipes and other infrastructure within the public rights-of-way. Water customers served directly by Beaverton or Hillsboro already pay this fee.
In response to these actions, TVWD's Board of Commissioners adopted resolutions on Sept. 21, 2016 to implement this new ROW fee for each jurisdiction. TVWD customers within the city limits of Beaverton and Hillsboro will see this fee appear on their bills on Nov. 8, 2016 or after.
