Are You Winter Ready?
On April 24, 2013, the District's Board of Commissioners voted to take steps to secure an additional water supply from the mid-Willamette River at Wilsonville. This option provides for high quality tap water at a lower cost, with less implementation risk than the other viable alternatives. This will be in addition to the other sources the District currently uses.
- Possible Color In Drinking Water
TVWD customers may have noticed a slight color change in their drinking water due to operational changes. Water continues to meet all state and federal standards for safe drinking water. We monitor routinely for all water quality standards. If you have further questions, please call 503-642-1511. Posted 12-12
- TVWD Begins Hydrant Flushing
In our ongoing commitment to deliver quality water, TVWD systematically opens hydrants around the District to flush sediment from mains, verify hydrants and valves work properly, and maintain firefighting capability. Flushing begins when we no longer rely on water from storage and usually ends in June, when water demand significantly increases. Posted 10-8
