Residential Water Rates

Residential Water Charges

Faucet OnTVWD provides billing for four separate service areas:

  • Tualatin Valley Water District
  • City of Sherwood
  • Southwood Park Water District
  • Valley Water District

Calculating Water Rates

Tualatin Valley Water District Water Rates

 Fixed Water Charges*

5/8" Meter $11.46
3/4" Meter $11.90

$2.06 per CCF up to 28 CCF
$2.94 per CCF over 28 (***Peaking)

* Fixed water charges are fees charged for your water service regardless of the amount of water you use.

Water Charges are also based on the number of CCF's used. One CCF = 100 Cubic Feet or 748 Gallons.
***
"Peaking" refers to using more than a set amount of water. If you use more than 28 CCFs of water, you are "peaking" and must pay more only for the extra water used.   

TVWD Billing Cycle:

  • Effective Date: 11/1/07
  • Bi-Monthly Billing Cycle
  • TVWD bills are sent out every-other month. There is one fixed water charge for both months. A typical household residence has a 5/8" meter. Residences that use more water (for example: larger houses or houses that use an above average amount of irrigation) might have a larger 3/4" meter.

City of Sherwood Water Rates

City of Sherwood Billing Cycle:

  • Effective Date: 2/1/08
  • City of Sherwood bills are sent out every 60 days.
  • There is one fixed water charge for all 60 days.
  • Sherwood charges in 100-gallon increments (also known as Cgals) instead of CCF.

 

Southwood Park Water District Water Rates

  • There is one fixed water charge for both months.

  • A typical household residence has a 5/8" meter. Residences that use more water (for example: larger houses or houses that use an above average amount of irrigation) might have a larger 3/4" meter.
