Business Industry Government Irrigation Rebate

Paying Your Company To Make Water-Efficient Choices

Irrigation SprinklersSave Water And Money 

Receive a rebate of up to $2,500 for installing weather-based, water-efficient equipment that automates irrigation based on weather and watering needs. Customers may hire a licensed landscape irrigation contractor to upgrade or install new systems that include a Rain Sensor, Soil Moisture Sensors, Conservation Controller, or Evapotranspiration Controller.

By participating in TVWD’s FREE water use audit program, B.I.G. customers may qualify for additional rebates for water-saving products not listed.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicants must be a Tualatin Valley Water District multi-family housing, business, industry or government customer with a current water account in good standing. NOTE: Southwood Park Water District and Valley View Water District currently DO NOT qualify for this rebate.
  • Prior to approval, an on-site inspection may be required by TVWD.
  • Device installation must be inspected and verified by a licensed landscape irrigation contractor.
  • TVWD will send an approval letter within two weeks after we receive your application. Upon approval, the customer may proceed with the purchase.
  • Send a copy of your sales receipt and a copy of your approval letter to TVWD. Upon receipt of the paperwork, allow 4-6 weeks for processing.
  • Rebates are for new products only. Pre-existing products and services are not eligible.
  • The total rebate cannot exceed the receipt amount.

Rebates will be given on a first come first served basis until funds are distributed.

How To Apply For A Rebate

NOTE: You must be pre-approved before you are able to receive the rebate.

  1. Call or contact our BIG Conservation Department at (503) 848-3064 for the rebate terms and conditions and with any questions. You can also download the BIG Rebate Brochure (PDF) for more information, or our Partial List of Qualifying Devices (PDF) to check if your device qualifies for the rebate.
  2. Complete the BIG Irrigation Rebate Application Form (PDF) and send it to TVWD for pre-approval. Please allow 2 weeks for processing of pre-approval letter.
